A bistro by the sea with clear values, fresh cooking and a terrace where time moves a little differently.
Meerzeit is more than a restaurant — it's the place where the Baltic sets the pace.
The house has welcomed guests from across Germany for years. Regional fish, a generous breakfast buffet, the sunny terrace with a view of the water — the foundations are there. What changes: we're modernising the concept, the menu and the room gently, without losing the soul of the house.
We continue to serve fish from the Baltic, the Bodden, Haff and Müritz. We stick with breakfast — because the hotel above us, our regulars and the quiet of the morning deserve it. And we remain a house for celebrations: weddings, birthdays, meetings.
On top, a clearer, more modern kitchen: less fuss, more craft. And always — an Aperol on the terrace when the sun drops low.
